Liquid Penetrant Testing (LPI)
LPI has the advantage of being able to detect flaws in nonmetallic and nonferromagnetic materials and is also one of the most portable of the surface inspection methods, allowing us to conduct a comprehensive onsite penetrant inspection.
Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI)
Magnetic particle inspection is one of the fastest and most cost effective non destructive examinations available for ferromagnetic materials such as castings, weldments, forgings, machined or stamped parts. ÈÕ±¾avÎÞÂëperforms on-site evaluations using portable equipment and in-lab inspections on large components weighing up to 12,000 pounds.
Positive Material Identification (PMI) Testing
ÈÕ±¾avÎÞÂëoffers Positive Material Identification (PMI) on-site with a portable XRF-analyzer for identification of medium and high alloyed metals or in one of our NDT laboratories.
Radiographic Inspection
Radiographic inspection uses X-ray and gamma-ray technology. This method is an efficient, reliable NDT service for detecting and identifying surface and subsurface discontinuities.
Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
Our inspectors use ultrasonic waveforms to pass through a material to detect flaws and provide a complete volumetric inspection. Contact testing, Phased Array and the Immersion technique are available for complex geometric parts that otherwise may not be subject to complete volumetric inspection.
On-Site Metallographic Testing and Analysis
ÈÕ±¾avÎÞÂëoffers a wide portfolio of on-site metallographic testing and analysis to monitor real-time component condition and detect potential or existing damage.
